Research Progress of Laser Cladding High-entropy Alloy Coating and Strengthening Mechanism

Laser cladding high entropy alloy coating has become one of the hot research topics in surface engineering field. The research status of laser cladding high entropy alloy coating was reviewed. The influence of process parameters and alloy composition on the microstructure and property of the coatings was introduced briefly. The strengthening mechanism of high-entropy alloy was analyzed. Finally, the existing problems were pointed out. The development foreground in the future was prospected.
