Research Progress of Thermal Spraying Aluminizing Process of Carbon Steel

The preparation of aluminum coating on the surface of carbon steel can effectively improve the hardness, high temperature oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance of carbon steel. At present, the thermal spraying aluminizing is widely used in chemical, metallurgical, electric power, petroleum and other industries. The process of thermal spraying aluminizing was introduced, the mechanism of thermal spraying aluminizing was analyzed, and the properties of carbon steel workpiece after thermal spraying aluminizing were summarized. Finally, the development trend of thermal spraying aluminizing process was discussed and prospected.
