Abstract:
Oral medical metal materials are in a variety of microbial electrolyte physiological environment during service, and the complex acidic electrolyte environment induces microbial corrosion of medical metal materials.Titanium and its alloys are widely used as dental metal materials in the dental field. It is of great practical significance to study the microbial corrosion failure mechanism of titanium and its alloys as implant materials in oral service environment and expl ore the anti-corrosion measures. Therefore, based on the application of dental implant metal materials, focusing on the key problems of titaniu m alloy microbial corrosion and its interaction failure mechanism, the research status of four common oral microorg anisms(streptococcus mutans, candida albicans, streptococcus sanguis, porphyromonas gingivalis) on titanium and its titanium alloy corrosion were summarized. The corrosion mechanism of titanium in oral environment and the prospects of oral implant materials were discussed aiming to provide a theoretical reference for the corrosion and protection design of metal materials for oral implants.
