Abstract: The types and composition of fluxing used in hot-dip galvanizing and hot-dip aluminizing were reviewed.The effects of chloride, fluoride, rare earth chloride and surfactant on the plating process were analyzed.The problems existing in the research of hot dip plating assistant and the future development direction were summarized.
