Abstract:
Mg/Al laminated composites were prepared based on the conventional flat roll under various reduction ratios(40%, 45% and 50%) at 400 ℃.What's more, different annealing temperatures were applies for the composite plates at 50% reduction ratio. The effects of the various reduction ratios and annealing temperature on the interfacial microstructure and tensile properties were analyzed. The results show that after single pass rolling, the interface of magnesium/aluminum composite plate is well combined without annealing treatment, no cracks and intermetallic compounds appear. With the increase of rolling reduction rate, the tensile strength of rolled sample increases. At 50% reduction, the maximum tensile strength is 278 MPa, and the thickness of the intermetallic compound of the magnesium/aluminum composite plate increases with the increase of annealing temperature. With the increase of annealing temperature, the tensile strength decreases. When the annealing temperature is 350 ℃, the lowest tensile strength is 220 MPa.
