Abstract: The dimensional stabilization treatment is one of the important research directions of high-precision aluminum alloy processing. The conventional stabilization process is difficult to meet the requirement of precision machining of the aluminum alloy, and the cold and hot circulating size stabilizing method is used as a new technology for stabilizing and treating the aluminum alloy pieces with high efficiency and precision, and the rapid development is achieved. Several stabilization treatment methods of aluminum alloy were introduced. The mechanism, research and development of cold and hot cycle stabilization treatment, equipment and so on were reviewed.
