英文摘要:Using three dimensional drawing software Pro/E to make the solid mass model of a nodular iron workpiece. The solidification process was numerically simulated with View Cast software. The position and cause of shrinkage defects was predicted. The gating system was designed based on the simulation result, the quality of the casting was improved.
